About Our School

  • Welcome to Pike Middle School!

Pike County is a hidden gem in west central Georgia. It’s the kind of place hard-working people live to get away from the bustle of city life, seeking a stable and safe place to raise their families. These same folks want a better life for their children, insisting upon a rigorous educational experience that instills values such as work ethic, personal responsibility, and civic competence. Pike County Middle School strives to meet these needs through a comprehensive and relevant curriculum that focuses on the needs of adolescents in our community. We meet children as they move from elementary grades and help them navigate the world in preparation for high school and the world beyond.

Our teaching, administrative, and support staff members place the best interests of our students at the forefront of all that we do. We strive to partner with parents and extended family members, as well as local community and business members, to develop creative and critical thinkers who possess the knowledge, communication skills, and fortitude to solve real-world problems. We seek for all students to possess an eclectic set of experiences as they move on to high school, particularly in their ability to work with other people, in preparation for the technologically advanced world they will face.
