  • Welcome to Pupil Services! It is our anticipation that our community will find the information on this site useful as it relates to the services provided by the Pupil Services Department. As a support system for the Pike County School District, it is our distinct pleasure to be a department that can assist in providing support services to our parents, students, and staff. Our department plans, directs, and administers all activities and services which include the following:

    • Crisis Response Team
    • School Nursing Program
    • Hospital/Homebound Program

    • McKinney-Vento Act-Homeless Students
    • Residency Investigation

    Greg GreenMr. Greg Green has been in public education for the past 30 years. He has extensive leadership experiences and is currently serving as the Director of Pupil Services for Pike County Schools. He has also served as District Leader in the areas of School Social Worker, Transportation Director, Safe and Drug Free Schools. From 1991 to 1994 Mr. Green served as the School Social Worker and Intervention Specialist with Newton County School District.

    Mr. Green is a native of Pike County and a graduate of Pike County High School. He received his Bachelor Degree in the area of Social Work from the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. He also received a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership and Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership at Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga.

  • Important

    Click here for an update on the required meningococcal booster dose requirement  for children 16 years of age and older who will be entering the 11th grade.  The requirement date has been changed from July 1, 2020, to July 1, 2021This does not impact any of the other currently required immunizations or the Form 3231.
