The Pike County Department of School Nutrition is dedicated to providing opportunities for students to grow and explore nutrition and its role in general wellness. We seek to enable those students who have already developed specific nutritional goals and provide that opportunity to those who have not.
It is our mission to provide uncompromising service to our customers by removing obstacles in the path of hungry students and promoting participation. We also seek to provide opportunities for explorers to expand their nutritional boundaries, overcome food insecurity and resist childhood obesity.
Pike County School Nutrition has over 100 years of combined service and leadership experience represented by our cafeteria managers. We serve 1750 students daily between our 4 schools and we are continuously finding ways to improve and provide better service to our customers.
Just one of the many appetizing characters that one of our amazing employees draws on the menu board every day.
Thank you Jessica Norman!
The School District continues to provide meals on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6 pm at the Pike Elementary and Pike Middle. Please be aware that meal service will be discontinued on Memorial day but will return on Wednesday, May 27 at Pike Middle ONLY for the remainder of the summer.
Governor Kemp has mandated that all Georgia schools remain closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of the school year. Understandably, this creates many questions. The District has developed a web page for you to submit questions and review Frequently Asked Questions. See FAQs about school closure and submit questions.
