Social Studies

  • Students will be able to independently use their learning to: analyze historical events to identify how it impacts present and future events; participate effectively in a democratic society; develop an appreciation and understanding of cultural differences, including a global awareness identifying their place in the world; and read and evaluate text in which they can apply knowledge to communicate a meaningful message.

     

    Graduation Requirements

    Students are required to earn 3 credits in social studies to meet Georgia high school graduation rules.

    (1 credit World History, 1 credit US History, ½ credit Government, ½ credit Economics)
