  • History

    Pike County High School was built in 1955 on what is now our Pre-K campus.  Our current campus opened in April of 1994. The student population at the high school is approximately 900, including students in grades ten through twelve.  Our mission is to develop creative problem solvers ready for college and career.  We strive to do this by providing quality instruction for our students and providing them with opportunities to dual enroll through the Griffin Region College and Career Academy.   


    Our purpose is to prepare our students for college and careers that challenge them intellectually and develop them into creative problem-solvers. We strive to do this by providing quality instruction for our students and providing them with opportunities to dual enroll through the Griffin Region College and Career Academy.
