    Attention Rising 8th Grade Students – Yearbook Applications

    A yearbook is the ultimate practice in teamwork. It takes an entire class to create the memories within it and it’ll take an entire team to finish it. If you are interested in being on the Yearbook staff for the 2020-2021 school year, please complete the attached Yearbook application and email to no later than June 15, 2020.

  • Rising 8th Grade Students Registration for Current Issues

    Current Issues

    If your child is interested in earning a semester high school elective credit as a middle school student, please have him or her consider signing up for Current Issues.  This course is a high school elective social studies course which will provide students with an introduction to the Imaginology Pathway by allowing students to examine and seek solutions to real world problems.  This course will be offered to 8th grade students during their 4th period for one semester (either first semester or second semester).  Unfortunately this course conflicts with 8th grade band.  If you would like to sign your child up for this class, please email his or her name and the course name, Current Issues, to no later than June 15, 2020.

  • PCMS Book/Belongings Exchange Plan



    To avoid social distancing issues, our staff will clear out all lockers, sending textbooks and school-owned resources to the media center. All remaining materials from lockers will be bagged with students’ names. On the dates and times below, we will bring your students bag to either of the car rider lines for you to receive. We ask that you bring any textbooks with you to exchange. We will have Spring pictures and report cards with the bags. It is doubtful that yearbooks will be shipped to us until later this summer.

  • PCMS Weekly Reviews

    PCMS teachers have created weekly review packets to provide students with an opportunity to review skills/standards taught during the school year (August - March). Completion of this review is strongly encouraged but is not required. If you do not have the capability to access or print the materials included on the links below, hard copies will be available meal pick- up on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 pm or at the front entrance of our building. (Answer keys will be posted the following week)

  • Interested in being a substitute?  

    Just fill out an application online at  Look under the "Job Listings" tab.  You must attend Sub Training to be eligible.  Cost is $40.  Training is held at Griffin RESA 770-229-3247.  Three hour training from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
