Gordon State College Announces Virtual Events

Gordon State College Goes Virtual!

In order to meet the needs of current and prospective students during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Gordon State College has developed a series of on-line events that will allow us to deliver important and timely information to students and their families about the admissions, financial aid and enrollment processes.

Gordon Nights (Find the date for your school and register by clicking the QR code below)

Gordon Nights are special custom events designed to serve the students in the 14-county primary service region.  Your county has a specific Gordon Night event!  By attending Gordon Night, you will learn more about the ways we are helping students just like you succeed in achieving a college degree.  No matter where you are in the admissions process, we can help you celebrate your acceptance, get admitted or get your financial aid in place to make attending Gordon State College a reality this fall.

Gordon State College Virtual Open House

April 28th, May 13th and May 26th @ 2:00PM

Since we can’t bring you to Gordon State’s beautiful campus, we’re bringing Gordon State to you.  This event will be held on line via Zoom and will provide important information about admissions requirements, applying for financial aid, academic majors, and you’ll hear from current Gordon State students.  This event is for students who cannot attend their Gordon Night, or who reside outside our 14-county primary service region.

Financial Aid Assistance

Being able to pay for college doesn’t have to be a barrier!  Gordon State College is here to assist you in applying for federal, state and institutional aid programs.  The Office of Financial Aid at Gordon State College will be hosting a series of virtual events every week to help you navigate the application process.

Tuesdays @ 3 PM – Understanding Grants & Student Loans

Wednesdays @ 2PM – The Basics of Financial Aid: FAFSA 101

Wednesdays @ 3PM – Help! I’ve Been Selected for Verification!
